This module will direct the doctor and team members in the steps necessary to establish a Financial Hardship policy for eligible patients. If you do not wish to offer an Indigence/Hardship fee schedule within your fee system, you can skip this module. Be aware, however, that in order to offer legal, hardship-based discounts, this fee must exist in your practice’s fee system. This module directs the office to establish a sliding scale and the steps necessary to properly verify hardship.
