Basic Requirements

Throughout chiropractic college and outside seminars, you can learn any number of ancillary modalities and techniques. But there is nothing more important than being a good adjustor. Once you have developed your chiropractic manual adjusting skills, you need to have other assets in your pocket that may appeal to a sport team. One of those skills is the ability to educate others.

Know Your Sport

Sounds simple, right? But it is not. Once you have identified a sport of interest, there are many components of the sport that you must learn about in order to succeed as a long-term provider. Positions, equipment, and functional body mechanics can help a provider to more readily identify conditions that can either prevent further injury or aid in recovery.

What you will learn in this module

This module will help you identify and promote your strengths as a Sports Chiropractor. We will also cover what you really need to know to get involved and stay involved in Sports Chiropractic. Remember it is different at every level of play, sport, and team. Being able to identify who is in charge and how to communicate with them can not only help you get in the door but stay there.
