OPTUM New Prior Authorization Process

In order for “providers to begin treatment the same day as the member’s initial consultation when clinically appropriate and ensure additional care is provided promptly” they have revised the authorization requirement.

HIPAA Privacy Rule Update

The Reproductive Health Care Privacy Rule also referred to as Reproductive Health Information (RHI) rule became effective June 25, 2024, and requires most providers and business associates to be compliant by December 23, 2024.
