Most clinics have portions of an OIG program in place and may not even know it. Others have no clue what areas of compliance fall under OIG. Then there are the clinics that have no idea what OIG stands for or its importance. The clinic must have a solid understanding of what OIG is before proceeding with any of the implementation steps assigned by the Specialist. This implementation program is designed to identify what a clinic already has in place, evaluate the compliance status and build from there.
