Timing is everything! With streamlining being a goal of the Patients over Paperwork initiative, federal agencies have been directed to “cut the red tape” to reduce burdensome regulations. January 1, 2023, will mark significant changes in a number of programs, including updates to Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding and changes to the Patient No-Surprises Act.
